Preventative Maintenance
Keep your recycling equipment running efficiently with preventative maintenance solutions from Norton Equipment.
What Is Preventive Maintenance?
Why Do I Need Preventive Maintenance?
The primary goal of preventive maintenance is to avoid the consequences of failure of equipment. This may be by preventing the failure before it actually occurs. It is designed to preserve and restore equipment reliability by replacing worn components before they actually fail. Preventive maintenance includes oil and filter changes, inspection of hoses, electrical, hydraulics, oil leaks, loose switches, broken welds, etc.
Preventive maintenance is conducted to keep equipment working and/or extend the life of the equipment. Corrective maintenance, or repair, is conducted to get equipment working again. Norton Equipment Co. offers service agreements and contracts for Preventive Maintenance. Please contact us to receive more information about our Preventive Maintenance program.
