Norton runs the forklift capacity and the crews to pick up, move, and set heavy machinery. It started as something we did for our own balers and compactors, and it turned into a service customers ask for on its own.

The machine does not have to be recycling equipment. If it is heavy, awkward, and has to end up somewhere else, we can move it: production machinery, presses, tanks, generators, shop equipment, whatever is bolted to your floor right now. We have done single-machine moves across a plant floor and we have torn out an entire facility.

What you get is a crew that does this constantly rather than a general contractor renting equipment for the week. We bring the trucks, trailers, and forklifts, and our fabrication shop makes the skids, brackets, and dock plates that real moves always turn out to need.

Heavy forklift capacity

The machines and the operators to pick up loads most shops have to sub out, including tight-clearance work inside buildings.

Any machinery, not just ours

Production equipment, presses, tanks, shop machinery. If it is heavy and has to move, it is in scope, whether or not it has anything to do with waste.

Full plant tear-outs

Closing, consolidating, or clearing a building? We have emptied an entire plant, machine by machine, and hauled it out.

Set, level & anchor

Getting the machine there is half the job. We place it, level it, and anchor it so it runs the way it is supposed to.

Do you rig machinery that has nothing to do with recycling?

Yes. That is the point of this service. Production machinery, shop equipment, tanks, and presses are all normal work for our crews.

Can you tear out a whole plant?

Yes, we have done it. Tell us the building, the timeline, and what is staying versus going, and we will walk it with you before quoting.

Will you buy the equipment you are removing?

Often, yes. If machines coming out have value we will make an offer and put it against the cost of the job.

How far will you travel for a rigging job?

Our standard radius is about 100 miles from the Memphis area. Larger jobs are worth a call regardless of distance.
